Cheese Scones.

Today we followed instructions to make cheese scones. Which are your favourite scones?

Scrambled Eggs!

As it is egg week we cooked a special scrambled egg recipe. We mixed eggs, cottage cheese and chopped fresh basil together. Then we cooked it in the microwave. It was delicious. Do you know any special scrambled egg recipes?

Egg Mayonaise Sandwiches!

Harvesting Vegetables.

We harvested some of our vegetables today. We picked peas, potatoes and broad beans. What vegetables have you grown?

Have you seen the cauliflower in our outdoor garden. We will keep watering it until it gets a little bigger. How do you suggest we cook it?

We have been baking flapjacks so we can eat them at playtime. They help us concentrate on our learning because the oats release energy slowly. Can you remember all the ingredients we put in our home made flapjacks?

Today we made a scrumptious snack of melon and ham. We really enjoyed eating it! What is your favourite healthy snack?

Sausage Casserole.

We made sausage casserole as part of our Farming And Countryside Award. We used sausages, onions and garlic. It was delicious. What other vegetables do you think we could have added?

Favourite Fruit.

Class 3 have been finding out which is the most popular fruit to eat at snack time. What does the pictograms tell you? Which is your favourite fruit?

Flapjacks.

We have been thinking about why we eat our flapjacks at break times. We know that eating flapjacks keeps us healthy and strong. It gives us energy to do our learning at school. We know too many flapjacks are not good for you, though!

We created posters of what we know about flapjacks.
What else could we eat at playtime to give us energy and keep us strong?
